a boring night
Had 2.5hr meeting this morning…so boring!
Anyway, was talking to Cheazels about Veronica Mars last night, and I tired sooo hard not to watch tv and just do my superannuation assignment! Didn’t happen..ended up watching 3 episodes back to back, and barely doing any of my assignment! Then went to bed and read Daddy’s Girls (Tasmina Perry), definitely not the best book I have ever read, preferred Marion Hume’s ‘The Fashion Pack’
Talked to the Giraffe for a while, but he had his basketball game..which they won, so he was in a extra good mood..ended up falling asleep on the phone while I was talking to him! He’s off fishing (gross) this w/end with his dad!
Looking forward to the w/end…have friends coming up for the long weekend…not sure what they want to do though. One of they guys is gay, so he wants to go to some party called ‘Sleaze Fest’, but don’t think I’m up for it! Would prefer a quiet w/end! These are the kinda friends that enjoy catching buses and trains (yuck!) and are very adventurous! They want to go to markets and walks n all that jazz. I do not walk…especially not long distances in my heels! And catch buses/trains?? Uhuh, not going to happen…I don’t even know my way around this town and I wouldn’t be happy if we got lost!
I’ve only got 4 weeks left on my secondment, and then I have to go back HOME!! Must look at moving out…don’t think I could handle living with the parentals again. Although, there hasn’t been a huge fight in about a month. I think the only reason for that is cause the marriage topic hasn’t come up…but I know it wont be far away!!
