Walking in High Heels

Went to a wedding on Saturday, took Giraffe along, was good fun.  Generally nervous about taking him along, cause there are heaps of curries around and I don’t know if someone there knows my parents and would tell them about Giraffe.

Had so much fun catching up with all my uni friends, drinking and dancing!  Ceremony was beautiful, bride was crying as she walked down the isle on her daddy’s arm.  Her dress was amazing, she looked like a barbie doll – stunning!  I sooo wanna get married!!!

There are some people that I have no respect for, and two of those (lets call them Loser & Goose) where there! A long time ago Goose (a male) & I were best friends…we used to do everything together, spend most hours of the day with each other, watching movies, chatting etc – but I was never attracted him, we were just friends (apart from one day where he said he might have feeling for me, but that was squashed asap), and there was no way I could consider him to be more than a friend – he is way too short!!  I like my men tall.  For most of our relationship, either one or both of us was involved with another person. 

Anyway, one day Goose told me that he had a crush on Loser, and I was so happy for him (stupid me!) and I did as much as I could to help him get her, which he finally did.  Might also add that Goose, L oser and I have a fair few mutual friends.

For some reason Loser didn’t like me, although she pretended, for a good 6 mths or so that she did.  From what I hearf from the other girls, she is very insecure about her relationship with Goose (even though they are engaged now).  She requested that Goose no longer speak to me and also told the other girls that she didn’t want me invited to group things..totally immature, but whatever.  The girls told her where to go and that they wouldn’t choose sides.

Goose, obviously, took her side on all this and no longer speaks to me, not that I care very much…but disappointed in him nonetheless considering that we had what I thought to be a strong friendship…obviously I was wrong!

So they were there on Saturday…most everyone else knew Giraffe, and I introduced him to those that didn’t.  Most people like to talk to him cause they want to know how tall he is, it fascinates a fair few people.  But I didn’t intro him to Goose & Loser (simply cause I don’t really have anything to do with them anymore), but I heard Loser bitching about the fact that I was rude and hadn’t introduced Giraffe to them – like WTF?!  We barely speak and she expects me to introduce him to them…why they hell would I do that!?

I think they only reason they wanted to meet him is cause we were all in a group chatting and laughing and Goose & Loser must have felt excluded – now that is definitely not my fault!  Annoying people.
